About Us

  • Georges P. Vanier is a congregated, special education facility for students with moderate/severe, intellectual disabilities or multiple developmental disabilities.
  • Students range in age from 6-19 years.
  • All students are bused to school from within the City of Medicine Hat or the surrounding district.
  • Georges P. Vanier School is a MHSD No. 76 program, with no established boundaries. This program is available to residents in all parts of Medicine Hat who meet the qualification requirements.
